We’re working in the studio again this week on another track we will be adding to our record. Â The track is entitled Shake Me!. We brought on Brian Garcia, who produced our last record to do this song. Â Thus far it’s been a long morning with drum tones and Peet’s coffee runs. Â We should finish up tracking on Friday. Â Speaking of Friday, we plan on dropping our new live Christmas track “Always Christmas” for free download on this day. Â So please stop by and pick it up. Â More to come…

On Monday I celebrated another birthday passing.  We invited our closest friends over to celebrate.  Our good friend Barrett Johnson played a few songs as well as Ryan Calhoun.  We ended the evening by playing a new Christmas song we wrote called “Always Christmas”.  We recorded it live and plan on releasing it as a free download in the coming weeks.  Thanks to our good friend Chris Foley for stepping in to play  blass and friend Dallas Kruse for bringing his accordion along.  I think you’ll enjoy.  We’ll let you know when the song is posted.Â

It was a rainy day in Los Angeles, that doesn’t happen often. Â I slept in a bit, last night was long. Â I drove down to Best Buy to buy Daniel a birthday gift. Â I noticed that Guitar Hero 4 just came out. Â I walked over to see the game on display. Â I saw about four teenagers playing and a crowd gathered around them. Â It was fun to watch the game we worked on and see our “motion capture” in action. Â I didn’t know how well it would translate but I was shocked to see our signature moves. Â I almost felt like saying “hey everyone that’s me and the guys”. Â I figured that would be a little juvenile, unprofessional and a bit weird. Â So I watched in silence, with a big grin. Â I think it’s funny how I still get excited about seeing that stuff, i hope that never changes.
Cheers to a great November!
