“Shake Me!”
We’re working in the studio again this week on another track we will be adding to our record. Â The track is entitled Shake Me!. We brought on Brian Garcia, who produced our last record to do this song. Â Thus far it’s been a long morning with drum tones and Peet’s coffee runs. Â We should finish up tracking on Friday. Â Speaking of Friday, we plan on dropping our new live Christmas track “Always Christmas” for free download on this day. Â So please stop by and pick it up. Â More to come…

“Always Christmas” LIVE from our living room
On Monday I celebrated another birthday passing.  We invited our closest friends over to celebrate.  Our good friend Barrett Johnson played a few songs as well as Ryan Calhoun.  We ended the evening by playing a new Christmas song we wrote called “Always Christmas”.  We recorded it live and plan on releasing it as a free download in the coming weeks.  Thanks to our good friend Chris Foley for stepping in to play  blass and friend Dallas Kruse for bringing his accordion along.  I think you’ll enjoy.  We’ll let you know when the song is posted.Â

November 1st
It was a rainy day in Los Angeles, that doesn’t happen often. Â I slept in a bit, last night was long. Â I drove down to Best Buy to buy Daniel a birthday gift. Â I noticed that Guitar Hero 4 just came out. Â I walked over to see the game on display. Â I saw about four teenagers playing and a crowd gathered around them. Â It was fun to watch the game we worked on and see our “motion capture” in action. Â I didn’t know how well it would translate but I was shocked to see our signature moves. Â I almost felt like saying “hey everyone that’s me and the guys”. Â I figured that would be a little juvenile, unprofessional and a bit weird. Â So I watched in silence, with a big grin. Â I think it’s funny how I still get excited about seeing that stuff, i hope that never changes.
Cheers to a great November!

Working…
We’ve been working from a coffee shop in WeHo for the last two weeks. Â We may be in Greece sooner than later, still waiting for the details. Â Dan and Daniel have been working hard at design work and ideas. Â I’ve been watching them. Â In my defense I’m the email guy. Â
For those living in California, lets agree the weather could not be better, for those that don’t live here, you should, the weather is amazing.Â

Coming Soon!
Good to be back on the ol’ blog. Â Our tour through Asia was amazing. Â Thank you to everyone we met and those who came out the shows. Â
This week Dan, Daniel and myself have been hard at work getting ready to update our new website, myspace and yes we’re releasing two new tracks this week, “The Man Who Lost His Soul” and “Nobody Knows You”.
We’re still in the studio finishing things up but we should be done very soon. Â The record will be titled “The Sound Of Defeat”.
As far as touring is concerned, we may be back in Greece in November but keep an eye and ear out, each day new things happen. Â Love to everyone!
Cheers,
Josh

Mixing
Mixing starts Monday. Â We finished tracking yesterday, we have one more vocal to lay down next week, I’ve been trying to finish the lyrics, it’s a tough one. Â Aside from that, we couldn’t be happier with the way it sounds thus far. Â Look forward to getting it out there to you.

PS Â I’m sitting on new furniture in my apartment and makes me feel virile.
